Our Proud History
Rudra Ecovation, founded by B.K. Malhotra and his son Akhil, began as a supplier of spare parts and machinery to India’s textile mills. Over time, they focused on sustainable solutions, exploring plastic recycling and PET bottle recycling. By converting plastic waste recycling into valuable resources, the company created a model for eco-friendly innovation. Their vision aimed to transform discarded plastic bottles into high-quality yarn, setting the stage for their role among leading plastic reprocessing companies in India.
Initially, Rudra Ecovation converted hazardous acrylic waste into yarn, gaining expertise as one of the top plastic recyclers in India. Their innovative methods aligned industrial production with environmental care. Recognized among the top 10 plastic recycling companies in India, they provided solutions for turning plastic bottles recycling into usable materials. This foundation enabled the company to expand as a trusted plastic recycling industry in India, demonstrating how sustainable processes can create high-value products while addressing plastic pollution effectively.
In 2006, Akhil studied PET bottle-to-polyester fibre conversion in China and collaborated with suppliers in China and Germany. This allowed Rudra Ecovation to produce recycled polyester fabric matching virgin fibre quality. With expertise in PET flakes manufacturing and plastic reprocessing, the company showed how plastic waste recycling could drive growth. Their process transforms discarded plastic bottles into eco-friendly fabrics, reinforcing their leadership among plastic recyclers in India and setting new standards in sustainable textile production.
By 2009, Rudra Ecovation commissioned India’s first advanced PET bottle recycling plant, strengthening its leadership in plastic recycling and plastic flakes manufacturers. Beyond fibres, they innovate with best out of waste from plastic bottles, turning it into market-ready solutions. Today, we continue expanding sustainable technologies, combining expertise in plastic waste recycling with visionary leadership.
